The RCPA are pleased to announce that funding is now available for this year’s Workforce Development Fund and we are open for claims.

The Workforce Development Fund (WDF) is funding from the Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC) disseminated by Skills for Care. It supports the provision of high quality care and the continuing professional development (CPD) of staff across the adult social care sector by providing a contribution towards the costs of vocational learning. The fund allows you to claim back money towards the costs of workers completing a broad range of adult social care qualifications, learning programmes and digital learning modules.

In order to register for the WDF your organisation must first register with the Adult Social Care Workforce Data Set (ASC-WDS) here https://asc-wds.skillsforcare.org.uk/login. Attached is some information on updating the ASC-WDS. If you have any queries please do contact me at laura.stooke@rcpa.org.uk .

Once registered please complete and return the attached Member Declaration Form. We will then send you the Claim Submission Form, which will be need to completed and returned to us with a copy of the learner’s certificate and the bank details to which the funding will be paid.
